Affan completed his Bachelor of Laws from the University of London. He further completed his Master of Laws from the prestigious University of Auckland, New Zealand following which he was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor at the High Court of New Zealand, and Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia.

Affan is enrolled as an Advocate of the High Courts.

Affan works on both corporate and litigation matters, encompassing most of the practice areas of the firm, including but not limited to, corporate, maritime, aviation, aircraft financing, employment, trusts, cybercrime, tax, privacy, customs, and consumer protection.
